![]() ![]() Even cooler: the actual program is a mere 200 MB download, and from that download, you have the option to create soundbank files only in the resolutions you need. Plus, you can load up and trigger a ton of MIDI patterns, just like Virtual Guitarist. If you prefer to play your chords manually, they're all equally set up to do so (plus adding extra articulations on either velocity, keyswitches or pedals in any configuration you need) and if you'd rather play chords, or bass notes and chords, you can easily switch over to that playing style. I was a bit wary over how good the quality would be, or even the playability, but their stuff is genius. I own RealGuitar 2L (which covers nylon, steel, fingered and picked, doubled, stereo and twelve-string acoustics), RealStrat (which covers Strat-style electric sounds) and am currently drooling over the fully-operational 30-day demo for RealLPC (humbucker-style metal and hard rock sounds). Second of all, despite not sporting 19 GBs of samples, MusicLab's VIs are probably the best-programmed guitar simulations you'll ever use. First of all, you'll have a lot smaller hard drive footprint, if that's something you want to consider. ![]() I'm gonna have to go with any (or, better, all) of MusicLab's VIs. I could play the MIDI files and audition and drag em into DP and they really sound convincing for a plugin. I have used AAS Strum Acoustic and it's really nice. tml?511820" onclick="window.open(this.href) return false ĭavid Polich wrote:I suggest getting Kontakt anyway - it's the gold standard for " onclick="window.open(this.href) return false ![]() overview/" onclick="window.open(this.href) return false There are more alternatives available for Virtual Guitarist 2 then Remapping or other tweaking to sounds, then just get the player. You don't have to buy it - the Kontakt 4 player isįree, from NI's website. So many products that are in Kontakt format.I don't consider Kontakt to be an option - it's a necessity for me. It will open any format (well, at least everyįormat I've thrown at it, including Roland and Akai) and there are I suggest getting Kontakt anyway - it's the gold standard for ![]()
